We display your vehicle on our reputable dealership yard, professionally advertise it with high-quality photos and a sale-ready description, and handle all enquiries and test drives on your behalf. You retain full control, with final sale approval remaining with you, and there are no commissions or hidden fees — you keep 100% of the sale price.

This option is ideal for sellers who want maximum control without the hassle of time-wasters or managing the process themselves.

2. Dealer-Backed Sale

Sell your vehicle with the added confidence of a dealer-backed sale through Easi-Sell. Your car is sold from our consignment yard with full dealership credibility and includes Consumer Guarantees Act protection, giving buyers extra peace of mind.

We take care of all advertising, enquiries, and test drives, making the process smooth and hassle-free for you. Because the vehicle is backed by a dealer warranty and consumer protections, it is typically priced slightly higher, helping attract serious buyers and increasing the potential for a faster sale.

With Easi-Sell, we professionally display your car on our reputable yard at the Affordable Car Sales site, advertise it across multiple platforms (including Trade Me, Facebook, Auto Trader & more), handle all enquiries, and manage test drives. It’s the convenience and credibility of a dealership, without having to trade your car in for less than it’s worth.

What do I need to bring when I drop the car off?

Please bring:

• The vehicle itself – in a clean, presentable state if you do not wish to add our professional grooming package. You will also need a reasonable amount of fuel in the tank for test drives and moving the car around the space
• Spare key (if applicable)
• Any service history or receipts you have for previous work done

Who handles test drives and what about insurance?

All test drives are handled by Easi-Sell staff. We ensure customers are vetted before driving the vehicle and accompany or supervise test drives as required. Vehicles are covered under our yard insurance during the sales process, giving you peace of mind while your car is with us.

Can I change the price later?

Yes. You remain in control of the asking price at all times. If market feedback suggests an adjustment could help the car sell faster, we’ll discuss it with you first – no changes are made without your approval.

How quickly do cars usually sell?

Sale times vary depending on the vehicle type, condition, price, and market demand. Some cars sell within days, others may take a few weeks. We’ll give you honest feedback throughout the process and actively market the car to achieve the best possible result. The $300/month covers yard space, photography, advertising, and handling all enquiries.

Optional or situational costs may include:

• Professional grooming (if required to improve presentation)
• Mechanical or compliance work (only if you choose to proceed)

There are no surprise charges — everything is discussed and approved in advance.
